Automations
Automations are a way to automate your business processes. You can configure specific triggers that will execute a series of responses.
For example, you can create an automation that sends an email when the status of a sale changes to "Delivered". The email could be a request for a review on Google.
Automations are incredibly powerful and can save you a lot of time, reduce human error, and improve your customer experience.
Automation can be a bit complex to set up in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to create automations in minutes. In this guide, we'll show you how to create and manage automations.
Change status when fully paid
When a sale or a repair is fully paid, it can be useful to change the status to "Paid" or "Delivered". This way, you can easily see which sales or repairs are still pending.
Our system allows you to create custom statuses, so you need to configure this automation to match your custom statuses.
In this example, we'll create an automation that changes the status of a sale to "Delivered" when the sale is fully paid.
-
First we will create the new status "Delivered". Go to Sales and click on the status dropwdown of a sale. Click on Add new status and enter "Delivered".
-
Go to Automations and click on Add new automation.
-
Click on "Add trigger"
-
Select the trigger "When a sale is fully paid" and click on Create.
-
Click on "Add action"
-
Select the action "Change status" and choose "Delivered" in the "Change status to" dropdown. Click on Create.
Now when a sale is fully paid, the status will change to "Delivered".
